NuggMD Patient FAQs — Kentucky

To qualify, you must: be a permanent Kentucky resident, not have a disqualifying criminal offense, be diagnosed with a qualifying medical condition by a licensed Kentucky practitioner, be entered into the patient and caregiver registry by your practitioner, and obtain a Registry ID card.

Qualifying conditions include: any type or form of cancer regardless of stage, chronic or debilitating pain, epilepsy or seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis/muscle spasms/spasticity, chronic nausea or cyclical vomiting syndrome resistant to conventional treatments, PTSD, and any other medical condition or disease determined by the Kentucky Center for Cannabis.

You might be eligible in the future. Kentucky allows the Kentucky Center for Cannabis to recommend additional qualifying conditions.

Benefits include legal access to cannabis, safe and tested products, legal protections for cardholders, and personalized medical guidance from licensed practitioners.

Kentucky charges a $25 annual fee for both patient and caregiver medical marijuana card applications. This is separate from evaluation costs.
